Advertisers pay you, not Revinel. Subscriptions live on your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect, and Revinel collects a platform fee on top of each one.

Why Connect

With Stripe Connect direct charges, you stay the merchant of record:
  • Advertiser payments, customers, and subscriptions all live in your Stripe account.
  • You manage billing the way you already manage the rest of your business.
  • Revinel takes its cut automatically as an application fee on each subscription. You never invoice anyone for it.

Connect your account

You can connect during onboarding or any time afterward.
  1. Click Connect with Stripe (in the onboarding Connect Stripe step, or later under Settings → General).
  2. Complete Stripe’s hosted setup: business details, bank account, and verification.
  3. You return to the dashboard once Stripe hands control back.
If you skip it during onboarding, you can come back to it. Nothing else you set up (tiers, fields, the embed) depends on Stripe being connected first.

Pending vs Active

Your connection has two states:
  • Pending means Stripe still needs more information. Advertisers cannot pay yet.
  • Active means you are fully set up and ready to take subscriptions.
Until your account is Active, checkout fails with a 412 PRECONDITION_FAILED error. Finish Stripe’s setup before you share the tier selector.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect Stripe under Settings → General. Existing subscriptions keep billing on your Stripe account, but new checkouts stop working until you reconnect.
